Mrs Elliott were out at the time, and had left a door and windows open. TIMARU, February 9. ' A series of thefts has occurred in Timaru this week, two hotels and a restaurant being visited i by thieves, who secured in the aggregate over £IOO in cash.. This afternoon two men, who had arrived from Dunedin the previous day, were arrested on suspicion, and will appear before the Court to-morrow.
