INSURGENTS SUFFER HEAVILY. A FLIGHT TO SAFETY. By Telegraph—Frees Association—Oopyrlght. LONDON, February 6. Reports from Central America state that desultory fighting continues in Nicaragua. A. large body of insurgents was ambushed near Inbertad, and suffered heavily. The rebels fled to the mountains. A hundred insurgents were killed, at the village of Santo Tomas, and many were captured. British bluejackets landed at Greytown, and assisted in extinguishing the flames caused by shells from the insurgents’ gunboats.
