Bottled ale and stout, specially brewed for homo use, is procurable at the Central Brewery, Quin street, Wellington. Under instructions received from the Collector of Customs, A. L. Wilson and Co., will sell at their rooms, Brandon street, to-day, thirty cases of glassware, lamps and tinware. The partnership formerly existing between McArthur and Hull, shipping agents, Wellington, has been dissolved. E. Hannah and Co,, Lambton quay and Cuba street, have a largo stock of ladies’ summer shoes, which they are selling ofi at "easy-on-the-purse" prices. Men desiring to purchase shirts of a good quality, yet at a moderate price, should visit Te Aro House, Cuba and Dixon streets, Wellington. This firm claims to hare one of the best stocks of collars, hats, etc., in the Dominion. Train arrangements for tho King’s Birthday holidays will be found in another column. One hundred labourers are wanted for the smelting works of the Broken Hill Proprietary Company, Ltd., Port Pirie, South Australia.
