The premises in which the operations will he conducted asv situated in Panama street, tvore formerly in the occupation ot the Public Civil Service Stc-ri'S Company, are next to isi'kcaldio and Stains, and opposite the I) IC. The building is specially suitable for tilt auctioneering portion of the business, there being a very largo room, cno of the best in the city, well lighted and convenient in evory way for the business to be carried "n. Renovations and alterations are at present in progress, but the promises will he ready for the selling of furniture and any other article that clients might take there next week. It is provided with a .strong room. Auctioneering wiil not form the sole support cf the new company, This is only une portion of the business, which will ir chide that of land and estate agents, mercantile and stock dealers, land valuers, and everything of a similn.r nature. Though ihe firm is in its infancy the principal, Mr A. L. Wiloon. is well known throughout the city and the "lip'.ri"t as a man of exceptional business ability, of undoubted integrity, and mo whose lon£ experience and special knowledge of the matters in which he proposer, to deal should result ; n the firm speedily establishing a substan'ial business connection. Mr A. L. Wilson lias been in business in the city of Wellington for nver fifteen years, and during most of the time was one of the principals of the firm of Maeflonald, Wilson, and Co. This liy n:i means represents the sum total of his experience in the Dominion, which extends in the aggregate, over about fortv years in different parts ->f New Zealand.
