The appeal case Campbell, of Sydney, Versus the Australian Mutual Provident Society, in which appellant sought to prevent the society extending its business outside the Commonwealth, was argued before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. After hearing the appellant’s case, their Lordships intimated that they did not desire to hear counsel for respondents. They would give their reasons later.
