There is a plague of crickets in the valley of Aghiii, in Corsica, and a substantial reward ie o2cred to anyone who can, exterminate them. Frederick Prcedy, on whom an inquest was hold at Westminster, was stated to have died from a whitlow on the finger caused by a pinch.
