Thd first annual sports meeting of the Croydon Preparatory School, Hill street, was held at Mr Coates's grounds, Hobson street, and resulted in some good contests. Moss won the school championship, Doughty being a good second. Moss's aggregate was sixteen, Stott being second in the aggregate with nine points. Mr* Duncan was starter, and Messrs Biss, Goring Johnston, Sicilian, and Stott were tho judges. The prizes were distributed by Lady Ward. Cheers were given for Lady Wand and Miss Sommexville.
