WELLINGTON HARRIERS
The fourth annual meeting: of the Wellington Harriers' Club was held at Batkin's Rooms last evening, when the chair was taken by Mr C. \V. Palmer, ami about twenty gentlemen were present, The report was. favourable in all respects, and the balance-sheet showed a. credit of ,€1 ( Js 30d. * The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr C: W. Palmer; vice-presidents,- Rev. G. V. Davys, Messrs J. B. Speed. P. Ross, XI. S. Robinson, D, Joslin, and W. 13. Bennett; captain, F. Wilton; vice-ceptain, W. B. Bennett; lion, auditor, R. Armit; delegate to K.Z.A.A. Association, Mr E. Everard. A handsome silver cun was presented bv Mr C. W. Palmer, and the conditions under whHi it was to be competed for were left to the committee to determine. , It was agreed that the season should be opened on the 33th inst. The club’s officers for the season were elected as follows: —Hon. secretary, IB S. Robinson; hou. treasurer, W. H. Pollock; luuulioanpor, W. H. Pollock; committee, Messrs Mulcahy, H. J. Pollock, and W. Press.
