PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, November 8. At a meeting of the East Auckland branch of the Liberal and Labour Federation. the president moved:—"That, while in entire accord with the main objects of tho new X.and Bill, this branch entirely agrees with the action of the Government in postponing the further consideration of the Bill until next session, thus affording more time for explaining the provisions of the measure to the country and for introducing possible alterations therein, which will make it more workable and more acceptable to all parts of New Zealand.” The motion was carried. '
