PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, November 8. The Hon.- R. MoNab, Minister of Lands, visited the Culvorden estate yesterday. On returning he stated that ho considered the estate was suitable for settlement in fairly large- holdings. Ho will visit the agricultural show to-day. and 'on Friday he leaves by the first express for Oamarn. It is his intention while in that district to insnect the Airdalo estate, with the idea of deciding whether it is sutable, for closer settlement. He will arrive at Palmerston on Friday night, and on Saturday morning will visit the Makareao lime kiln. He then goes on to Gore, where he will spend a few days.
