(Received February 23, 10.20 p.nv.) SYDNEY, February 23. A. M. Millard, a member of tho Legislative ABscrably, appealed to tho Full Court against lus recent sentence, principally on the* ground that tho evidence at tho trial disclosed no felonious intent to convert money to his own use.

The appeal wao dismissed. Tho Court also directed that. Millard’s namo should bo struck off tho roll of solicitors.

In November last Millard was convicted of tho larceny of jCS, tho property of a client. Owing to tho circumstances of tho caso, a special investigation was held, and on February Ist Millard was sentenced to six months’ hard labour, Tho sentence was suspended under the First Offenders Act. Tiro Judge said that accused, "under a reckless departure from sobriety," had kept tho money, hut had not converted it to his own use. Since then Millard had “turned over a new leaf."
