In connection with tho rimng in German South-West Africa, tho chief Cornelius and his followers tendered their submission to Herr Lindoqnist, tho German Governor, after suffering terrible hardships. Some of tho Witbooi followers, with their women and children, quenched their thirst with tho blood of their cattle.
