THE WEATHER.
Rain foil heavily in Wellington during the earlier part of yesterday, but the afternoon was pleasantly warm and disagreeably windy. The weather was generally fine all oyer the colony. At 5 o’clock, tho outlook at Auckland and New Plymouth was reported to be gloomy, and there was a considerable sea running on tho const south of Cape Campbell.
