THE LOCAL OPTION POLL.
(To tho Editor, “N.Z. Times.") Sir, I beg to suggest that in order to more completely guage the mind of the people of the colony on the liquor trade for the purpose of future legislation, there bo an additional question placed on the local option form, thus—" Are yon in favour of State control of the liquor traffic?” I suppose it is too late now to put this into effect for the coming election. —I am. etc., ’ W.H.B.
