THE CONFESSION OF FAITH.
(Received May 28, 4.46 p.m.; LONDON. Mav 27. An Established Church Assembly sitting at Edinburgh resolved to apply to Parliament for power to modify the sense in which the Confession of Faith is accepted. - Tile Earl of Aberdeen expressed the opinion that the proposal might bring the churches closer together.
