SCHOOL CADETS.
INSPECTION BY THE PEEMIEE. PItESS ASSOCIATION.
DUNEDIN, May 25. Three battalions of school cadets, numbering 1061, paraded this afternoon, and were - inspected by the Premier, the boys going through their movements creditably. In addressing the officers and cadets the' Premier referred to the fact that nothing had impressed _ the Duke of York more during his visit to the colony than the cadet movement. It was his (Mr Seddon’s) intention to introduce legislation under which bflicers of school cadet corps would have standing under tho Defence Act., Concessions would also be made in respect to shooting and other matters. _____
