DOCK ACCOMMODATION AND DEFENCE. (Received May 25, 9.7 p.m.)' BRUSSELS, May 25. Tho Belgian Government proposes ’to expend £4,320,000 on the defences of Antwerp and £7,320,000 on enlarging tho dock accommodation, there.
A recent cable message stated that the Belgian Government intended to connect Germany by rail with Antwerp, so as tj make that place the shipping port for the whole of central Germany.
