The motion will affirm that it is necessary that the electors should have an opportunity of expressing their opinions in regard to preferential tariffs and taxation of food before a Colonial Conference is hold. MR LODER DEPOSED. LONDON, May 24. Lord Edmund Talbot has been appointed Junior Lord of the Treasury in succession to Mr Gerald Loder.
