THE FISCAL QUESTION. ANOTHER CHALLENGE TO THE GOVERNMENT. (Received May 25, 9.7 p.m.) LONDON, May 25. Sir Edward Grey intends to move, in the House of Commons at an early date, a resolution expressing regret at the confusion created by tho conflicting declarations of Mr Balfour and other Ministers on the fiscal question. The motion will affirm that it is necessary that the electors should have an opportunity of expressing their opinions in regard to preferential tariffs and taxation of food before a Colonial Conference is hold. MR LODER DEPOSED. LONDON, May 24. Lord Edmund Talbot has been appointed Junior Lord of the Treasury in succession to Mr Gerald Loder.
