LAND TRANSACTIONS.

THE MYALL CREEK PURCHASE. AIR BATH’S COMMISSION. SYDNEY, May 24. Air Justice Given, as Royal Commissioner, took further evidence to-day concerning the administration and transactions of the Lands Department. •

Air W. N. Willis, land agent and exAI.L.A., declined to give the name of the man who drew the bill which included Air Bath’s commission in connection with the sale of the Alyall Creek estate. He declared that he was protecting another man—a member ot tho Bar—and he did not think it proper to drag his name before the public and injure his credit. Ho consented to write the name on a piece of paper, and handed it to Air Justice Owen.
