The largest camellia in existence is at Plintitz Castle, near Dresden, Germany. The tree is 24ft high, and produces about 50,000 blossoms annually. Among the curios brought Home from South Africa by the 16th (Queen's) Lancers at Colchester is a fine stork. It has been installed as the regimental pet.
