ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
PRESS ASSOCIATION. WHANGAEEI, September 5. Archibald Ingram, while pig-hunting vesterdav, at Ruaraugi, was gored by a wild boar. The man was taken to the Whangarei Hospital. He has been seriously wounded, but is expected to recover. , ~ , Frank Cowan, a settler at Hukerenm, dropped dead at bis home on Saturday evening. Deceased bad- been suffering from heart disease. CHRISTCHURCH. September 5. Archie Harlow, injured in a burning accident at Glentunnel on Saturday night, died early this morning. An inquest was opened this afternoon, and adjourned till Thursday. At the inqeust on J. Quinton, jockey, who died through injuries received in the Grand National Steeplechase, a verdict of accidental death was returned.
