NELSON HARBOUR BOARD.

PRESS ASSOCIATION. NELSON, September 5. At iho meeting of tho Harbour Board to-day, ten applications wero received for the post of harbourmaster and pilot. The Board, in committee, selected one applicant. but decided that the name sbouht not be disclosed till an agreement is signed. Nine applications were received for the position of resident engineer The question of appointment was postponed. A report was received dealing with the reclamation of tho mud flats but no definite action was taken.
