EXPLOSIVE WORKS DESTROYED. TWO MEN INJURED. PBESS ASSOCIATION. , DUNEDIN, September 2. The Taipo explosive works at Deborah Bay, near Port Chalmers, were burned to the ground this morning. Two workmen who were seriously burned were taken to the hospital. The building and plant were insured for £750 and the stock for £SOO, both in the North Queensland office. ’ Tons of explosives were burned.
