CARTERTON.
Wednesday. The installation of Mr H. A. Parkinson as Worshipful Master will take place at Greytown on Friday. A rood race, for the purpose of selecting a representative from this district to compete in the Christchurch-Timaru race, will take place on the 30tli inst. The course will be from Mastorton to Featherston, thence to the top of the Martinborough hill and home via morison's Bush.
