1904 STARS. m This tvell-knoivn cycle is greatly improved for 1904. Mr. F. H. Adams, when in England, arranged for “ Stars” to be built on the latest lines of cycle construction. “ Star ”, frames are now designed so that two-thirds of the rider’s weight is carried on the rear whed. This enables the rider to sit in a natural position and to pedal the machine with ■ the greatest of case. The vibration is much less, as the front wheel is carrying a light load, and therefore runs smoothly over, the road. The appearance of the new Star ”is quite “ racey,” due to the improved design of the frame, together with the front: forks being set at the correct angle.: The netu Eadie Combination Hub is fitted at the small extra charge of £l. This gives a frictionless free wheel and back-pedalling brake. , The neio Fagan Two-speed Hub is also fitted. This gives the rider command over two gears—with free wheel at both —the low gear for climbing hills or riding against head winds, and the high gear for every-day use on flat roads. The tvhple of the Fagan gear is fitted in the back hub, and is extremely neat and simple. For ladies the Fagan Two-speed Gear is a boon, as hills and head winds are now no terror '■ The-extra charge for Fagan Two-speed Hub is £2.. •• GREAT REDUCTION IN STAR PRICES. w 'Star " Road Racer, old price £23, reduced to £lB cash. "Star" Roadster, old price £23, reduced to £l9 cash. "Star," Lady’s, old pries £23, reduced to £l9 cash. The reduction in "Star” prices is due to Mr. F. N. Adams’s recent trip to England, large contracts having been placed with the manufacturers. Fitted with Clipper. Reflex Tyres—the easy-running tyre. Send or call for 1904 "STAR " CATALOQUE. Second-hand Bicycles taken in payment for new "Star.” . EASY TERMS OF PAYMENT, We are prepared to make extremely easy terms of payment to ladies and gentlemen residing in Wellington: Small deposits with small monthly payments. AD AIMS. STAR CYCLE CO.
