It is said that an offer of £4500 has been unsuccessfully made by an English breeder fur tho well-known sire Lancaster, by Hotchkiss, from Frailty, by Goldsbrough, and was bred by Mr T. Morriii, New Zealand. Lancaster is tlio property of Major Smith, of Nandollyu Heights, Molong, Now South Wales, who purchased him about three years ago for £SOO.
