OPERA HOUSE. ‘‘Little Lord Fauntlcroy” was performed again at the Opera House by the Hawtroy Comedy Company, there being an appreciative audience present. This afternoon there will hi? a special performance of tho play, and iu the evening tho Wellington .season wu i.o concluded with a representation of “In tho Soup.” DIN’S GAIETY COMPANY. Tho programme now being presented by Mr Dix’s Company is a highly meritorious one. There, is, not a (kill moment, and with all there is an absence of anything objectionable. The. “burlesque drama' contributed by Miss Rosivn and Mr Kearns creates no-ond of amusempnt. Arnold! and Alberto have several now and clever feats of jugglery, and legerdemain. A very pleasing item on tho programme is tho sketch by Miss Emmie -Smith and the Sisters Gallardi. The company appears again to-night. CHORAL HALL. Fuller’s Entertainers again performed before another large, audience last night. To-day there will ho tho usual Saturday afternoon performance,, and ■ for tonight an unusually attractive px-ogramme is announced. MR HARRY RICKARDS’S COMPANY. Mr Harry Rxckards's Vaudeville Company, which opens at tho Opera TicM.se on Monday evcqmg, will play for a season of twelve* nights and two matinees,,, Tho company consists of M Jacques Inaudi, M. Do Thoroey, Mr Wallace Brownlow, Mr G. W. Hunter, Miss Oracle Einmot't. Miss Francos Gray, Mr Lo Roy Winimor, Mr Don. J. Milos. Mr Sam Holdsworth, The Groat Clive, Mr J. F. Larkin.- Miss Madge Thomas. Little Eileen Capel, and Mr At. Marcus (manager). They arrive from , the south, tomorrow. Tho programme to bo submitted on Monday evening will ho of an interesting and miscellaneous character. First and foremost, of couieo, there is Inaudi, who is said to bo a most extraordinary performer. His memory for figures is wonderful, and no problems seem too difficult to be solved by him. Inaudi has created amazement everywhere, and as his entertainment is of an educational kind, it ought to bo welcomed by all classes. Mr Wallace Drownlow, whoso lino baritone voice is said to bo bettor than ever, will smg a number of-new songs. The box plan is now open at tho Dresden.

An excellent musical! programme was given at tho Missions to Seamen last night by Messrs Nicholls, Colpus, Lamp, Lough and Skinner. . A competition prize Fas’- won by men. -from H.M.S. Lizard. Mr James Moore gave an, ambulance ■ address concerning -injuries to tho eye and dislocations. At tho Y.M.C.A-' rooms 'last night, Dr Cliaipplo delivered air interesting physiological lecture on “The _ Brain ” to an appreciative audience composed of members of the association and their friends. Tho Wellington branch' of the Yorkshire Society of Now Zealand held, a highly successful “ social ” at the Druids’ Halil last night, there being over seventy couples on the floor. A programme of twenty-eigne dances was gono through, and an excellent vocal list was contributed to by the Misses Blake, Field and Brightwoll, and Messrs S. Crooks. Oathcart. Boot, Harris and Applegarth. Phonographic selections given by Mr Taylor were greatly appreciated.' The secretary off the society was ■ most ■ energetic in his endeavours, and to him tho success of tho function was in a largo measure duo. Messrs Applegarth, Wagstaff and Burton, as M.C.’s, were higldv successful in their efforts to make matters glide smoothly, and taken as a whole the function was quite up to the high level ef the initial one hold last winter*.

Tho eighth annual'railway “social” is to be held in the Sydney street Schoolroom on July 3rd. A practice for the soprano chorus taking part in the Wellington Musical Festival is to bo held at tho Dresden Rooms at 4 o’clock this afternoon. Tha Marist Brothers’ Old Boys’ Dramatic Society wil I produce the four-act drama “Tho Colleen Dawn” at the Opera House on Juno 15th and 16th.
