(Received December 26, 9.4 a.m.) ROME, December 25. The Pope, in receiving members of tho Cardinals’ College on Christmas Eve, eulogised tho Christian democratic movement. Later on he expressed profound regret at bhe Archbishop of Canterbury’s death, and declared Ids great regard for that jrrolate, who, although a frank opponent of the Catholic Church, had a noblo mind.
