TRADES CONGRESS.

SYDNEY, November 29. The Labour Congress has concluded. It adopted resolutions recommending that in order to maintain and secure further representation in Parliament additional funds should be provided by tho unions voting an annual sum per capita, preference being given where possible to members of unions in tho selection of Parliamentary candidates; tlxat branches of university and technical education shall bo provided and controlled by the State; and that equal pay for equal work bo paid to male and female workers.

Tho next mooting will bo held at AXelbourno in January, 1904.
