Tho Socialist newspaper, “Vorwarts,” has published a copy of a ringing appeal, signed by the princes, nobles, great financiers and industrial representatives of Germany, hacked by tho Emperor, calling for a systematic movement for the extermination of social democracy as being immoral and corrosive, and as imperilling tho honour of domestic lifo in Germany. Tho organisation is preparing to circulate eight million pamphlets urging voters to resist tho danger which is undermining tho Fatherland. Tho Socialists, to fight the organisation, are appealing for a campaign fund cf three million marks (£150,000).
