LABOUR IN AMERICA.
NEW YORK, November 27. Some members of Mr Mosely’s British Commission to inquire into labour conditions in America declare that they have received so many eye-oponers that it will bo difficult to convince Englishmen that they havo not exaggerated the truth. They aro especially struck with tho encouragement given to workers’ inventions, also with tho wide application) of labour-saving machinery, overcoming difficulties which aro considered insuperable in England. (Received November 28, 10.44 p.m.) NEW YORK, November £B.
Tho Commission was specially amazed at tho equipment of tho American cotton mills, which wore considered far superior to those of Lancashire.
