THE PREMIERS’ CONFERENCE.
MELBOURNE, April 25. Tho federal Premier (Mr Barton) has suggested tho following subjects for discussion at the conference of Australian Premiers in London ;—Army and navy supply contracts ; steamship communication generally, and the effect (if any) of preference to British trade; general questions as to treaties affecting Australian interests; the silver coinage question; and whether any mutual protection can he given within the Empire.
