MELBOURNE, April 12

The Victorian Employers’ Federation has decided to abandon its attitude of defence in favour of a policy of active opposition to tho trades unions. It has issued a manifesto opposing undue Government interference in tho fixing of tho rates of wages and hours. It will also oppose the adoption of an Arbitration Act similar to those of New Zealand and Now South Wales.
