MURDER IN A CEMETERY.

CONFESSION OF THE CULPRIT. MELBOURNE, March 7. A man named Lynch gave himself up to tho police, stating that ho had cut tho throat of a girl named Maher in Melbourne Cemetery. He declined to give any reason for his action. On visiting the cemetery the dead body of the girl was found, with wounds in tho throat and side. Lynch was then arrested. Deceased and ho were lovers.
