The Victoria Amateur Turf Club'-: Spring Meeting was continued at Caulfield to-day under more favourable circumstan ces than on the opening day. The winner, Bonnie Chiel. is a full bro ther to Kinglike who put up an Aug tralasian record (grain 22sec) in the same race last year. The performance of the placed horses was a satisfactory trial for the Caulfield Cup, in which race Bonnie Chiel has the same weight, Hymettus 61b less; and Sequence 101 b less. The placed horses in the Coongy Handicap, run over the same distance as the Eclipse Stakes, are engaged in the Caulfield Cup on Saturday. Juggler hag incurred Sib penalty, which brings his weight up to 71b Gib. That is a light impost for the four-year old son of such a great perform er as Strathmore, and a half-brother to Eingmaster.
