Messrs George Thomas and Co. draw attention to a totally unreserved auction sale of household furniture, which will take place at their auction rooms, Harris street, at 2 o’clock to. day. Messrs Macdonald, Wilson and Co. will sell at their rooms to.day at 2.30 o'clock a number of landed properties, comprising the valuable property known As Taradale, having land with 33ft frontage to the Clyde quay Esplanade by a depth of 100 ft with a fine new bay.window family residence of eleven rooms and all modern conveniences. Easy terms will be given for its purchase. A valuable house of five rooms and land in Hawker street, ad. joining the residence of the late Captain Fairchild, and having all conveniences, will be submitted, os will also, under the conduct of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, a valuable five.roomed house and land in Richmond street, Petone. Details appear in the auction column. Messrs Wilkins and Field announce that their clearing sale closes on Saturday, 2nd prox. Messrs W. H. Morrah and Co. will sell at their rooms at 1.30 p.m. to.day a large quantity of American and other boots and shoes. Mr D. Mahoney, Cain’s terrace, Timaru, has for sale the goodwill, etc., of a bakery and store in South Canterbury. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., will sell stock at Palmerston North to.day. The New Zealand Doan and Mercantile Agency Co. will sell stock at Palmerston North to-day.
