»BH ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, October 3. Alexander McLean, dredgemaster of the Fir S t Chance dredge, was drowned to day in the Molyneux; He had paid off the crew, and was arranging to leave the dredge in charge of the engineer, when he slipped overboard. He appealed to be swimming strongly, when he threw np his hands and sank. AUCKLAND, October 3. A man named Le Boy,'eon of the.posh master at Fort Fitxrojr. Great Barrier, was drowned this morning by the capsis, ing of a boat.
