EDUCATION BOARD.

RETIRING MEMBERS RE-ELECTED. After reposing in the pigeon holes of the Education Offices for a fortnight, as by. Act of Parliament provided, the voting papers in connection with the Education Board election were ' opened with all due solemnity yesterday morning. The count resulted- in the return of the three retiring members of the Board by large majorities. There were nine candidates, and the voting, as disclosed by soma 617 papers sent in (over 800 were sent out), was as follows: J. R. Blair , 493 B. Feist « 330 F. Bradey 316 W. H. Field ... 261 Bishop Wallis ... 194 J. B. Speed ... 67 T. Quirk 61 A. Armstrong 42 Dr G. P. Baldwin 28 There were 24 informal voting papers, but even had they been counted in it would not in any way have affected the result-
