FIRES.

pekss ASSOCIATION. THAMES, June 27. The residence of Mrs Dunne, at Para* wai, was totally destroyed by fire at four o’clock this morning. There were only two young men, her sons, in the house at the time. An empty house adjoining was also destroyed. The insurances are: —Mrs Dunne’s, £IOO on the furniture, and £350 on the dwelling in the Victoria Office; £IOO in the Commercial Union on the empty house.
