OUTLINES OF THE GOVERNMENT POLICY.

A HUGE ( LOAN REQUIRED. PERTH, March 29. The Premier (Hon. 6. Throssell) has outlined the Government’s policy. The essential features are the straightening out of the finances of the colony and, the wise development of its resources,' the extension of land! settlement, the further liberalisation of the land laws, the establishment of an Agricultural Bank, and the abolition of plural voting. In order to complete the Government works programme an additional loan of £3,950,000 is required. Mr . Throssell favoured a substantial reduction of the number of members in the State Assembly. The Gbvernmelnt will stand or fall by the retention of the sliding-scale in Customs duties provided under the Commonwealth Act. '
