The well-known brlglthtirie Linda Weber, in charge of Captain, Shhw;-arrived in port yesterday morning after a- smart trip of ten days from Clareiibetown (N.S.W.). Fine weather and favourable winds prevailed until entering Copk Strait on Monday night, when a north-west, gale sprang up, which drove-the vessel as far south as Cape Campbell. A southerly breeze was picked up early yesterday morning, which enabled the vessel to make port. The vessel brings 55,000 feetvof ironbark timber consigned to Messrs .1. and Son for the Harbour Board's Glasgow wharf contract. As she came from an Australian port the'L'inda Weber was inspected by the Health Officer (Dr James) before being berthed for discharge at the Railway Wharf.
