THE Ohika-iti Claim contains one mile of the best dredging ground on the Buller River, between the Cascade Creek and Redman’s Bar Claims, with the privilege of exchanging the claim against three other claims belonging to the vendors so long as these remain unsold. The banks of the river between these two points are very rich in gold, the Redman Bar Claims having yielded enormous returns. The Ohika-iti claim itself contains very rich gold - bearing beaches easily ' worked by modern dredges, as shoivn by the reports of Mr John Gow and Mr W. I'aithfull.
