TOURNAMENT AT PALMERSTON. WELLINGTON WINS THE TIE. PRESS ASSOCIATION. PALME RSTON, Tuesday. The lie between 'Wellington and Palmerston at the bowling tournament was. played off this morning, and was won by Wellington- The scores were:—Wellington, -17 ; Palmerston, 34. To-day’s play consisted of a series of matches between the visitors vuid the Palmerston Club, and resulted in a win for the visitors by 218 to 168. The visiting players returned home to-night.
