The third ■ animal picnic : of/the Plumbers’ Union took place, on baturdav. The popular screw steamer Duchess was chartered for the occasion by the union. ■ Quite a . thousand people were nrosent. : The band of the Napolitani Students contributed in no small degree to the enjoyment' of the picnickers, many of whom indulged in dancing in the pavilion.
