FOOTBALL.
An Association football match between crews of the Gothic and the ship Auckland was played on Saturday, the latter winning by 3 goals to 1. Following this there was a cricket match between crews picked from the Gothic and Takapuna, resulting in a very exciting finish—the Gothic team scoring .45" runs and the Takapuna’a .46 Both games were under the auspices of the Mission to Seamen,
