AN ENGLISH BY - ELECTION.
London, January 24. Mr William Keswick (Conservative) has been elected to fill the vacant seat for Epsom, caused by the resignation of Mr Bucknill (Q.C.). Mr Bucknill’s retirement from politics was necessitated by his appointment to the Queen’s Bench in succession to Sir Henry Hawkins. He was formerly Recorder at Exeter. ■
