THE PREMIERS’ CONFERENCE
Mej/boubne, January 25. The Conference of Premiers on the Federation question will be opened on Saturday instead of the 31st inst., as was intended. ~ . Sir George Turner, Premier of Victoria, has had formal consultation with the Victorian delegates to the former Federal Conventions, who 'discussed the attitude of the colony for his guidance. During this Conference no resolutions were passed, and the Premier was left a free hand. •
