The motnbers of the Wellington Golf Club played a handicap match at Miramar yesterday for prizes kindly presented by Mr M. Chapman, captain of the club. The weather was very unfavourable, a strong northerly gale preventing anything like good scores being handed in. Mr O. S. Watkins won with a net score of 108, and Messrs h. Tripp and Or.
