All cereals have advanced—oats to 2s lOd ; seed oats, 3s 2d to Ss 8d ; wheat. 4s 7d : potatoes, £7 to £7 10a. There are inquiries for flax at £l4 to £l4 10s. Napier, May 19. Messrs Nelson Brothers to-day received the following cable message from the Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company, London : F/ozon meat market—There is a still farther decline in prices to-day. Quotations are: Best Canterbury mutton, B}d per lb; best Dunedin and Southland, 8d per lb; Napier and North Island, 2£d per lb. The reduced prices are due to the action of outside holders.
