Hanraki Anchor Syndicate has sold its mine at Hape Creek, Thames, to an English syndicate for .£i3,000 working capital. In addition, a 25stamper battery has been arranged for. The Koraata reefs crushed 320 tons for £1450 The batteries were deUyed through want of water. Steam power is now available. The Woodstock crushed 651 tons of ore for bullion valued at A*2058. The small quantity of ore is accounted for by tbe Christmas holidays and the shortness of water necessitating the laying up of 20 bead -of stamps.
