By Telegraph,—’Press Association, Auckland, January 12. The Moanatairi Company's new 60stamper battery, Thames, should be ready ior crushing early next month. Hanraki Anchor Syndicate has sold its mine at Hape Creek, Thames, to an English syndicate for .£i3,000 working capital. In addition, a 25stamper battery has been arranged for. The Koraata reefs crushed 320 tons for £1450 The batteries were deUyed through want of water. Steam power is now available. The Woodstock crushed 651 tons of ore for bullion valued at A*2058. The small quantity of ore is accounted for by tbe Christmas holidays and the shortness of water necessitating the laying up of 20 bead -of stamps.
